How it started?
... with a weather grounded gyrocopter and a trip to the garage…
In late 2024, a gyrocopter pilot in the Azores, stuck on land, found calm and creativity in an unexpected place: giving new life to old wood. What others saw as waste became the beginning of something meaningful. Now between Azores & Algarve we can experience a unique way to recover wood from diferent origins and more subjects open to mind!
Every piece is crafted from reclaimed wood — some from homes built after the 1998 Faial earthquake. These woods have lived as trees, boats, crates, pallets... and now, they live again as one-of-a-kind creations.
The Azores hold a unique and powerful Whale Culture, forged during the difficult era of whale hunting — a time when it was the only means of survival and a lifeline for families facing poverty.
Today, I proudly carry this heritage forward by joining the traditional Whale Boat regattas, where the spirit of the Whalers lives on through an intense, exhilarating, and truly one-of-a-kind style of sailing.
The result? Handcrafted objects that carry history, spark joy, and tell a story. Happy Whales, Happy People— a nod to the spirit of the Azores and to the idea that even trees might dream of becoming whales.

Our Philosophy
If it doesn't makes me and my kids smile... is not ready yet!!!
The beginning of the creative process is quite aleatory. Than it requires intensive work to make it happen, sometimes at first time, often after so many trials.
But the finishing time is quite simple: it creates a SMILE!
